They made every effort to avoid a large delay cost due to the Verizon strike. They worked very well with the Verizon subcontractors and aided them to keep the project moving forward. They particularly praised Clearwater for communicating and keeping the owner in the loop and for the on-site presence of management personnel.  The resulting efficiency sped up the work; as the owner commented, “Project completed 6 weeks prior to completion date; with exception of a few minor punch list notes.”

On behalf of PennDOT District 2-0, I would like to offer my thanks to you and your construction staff for a job well done on the concrete deck placement for the McKean County SR 1002, Section A02 bridge rehabilitation project. The District would also like to thank Clearwater for changing the configuration of the top mat of reinforcement over half to the deck on short notice. Clearwater Construction is a very well qualified contractor and their work and work ethic starting with their superintendent all the way down to the 1st year apprentice was tremendous. The attention to detail, willingness to solve issues, to meet the departments expectations, and deliver a quality product and show pride in workmanship is a quality that is not seen much in today’s environment.

It was a pleasure working with this Superintendent. His attention to detail was amazing. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and not afraid of work. It was a job extremely well done. Whenever you called the main office to set up a meeting for something on the project there was no hesitation and they were there. Outstanding job and the end results were the same.
